Editorial policy
Every guide on RabbitEmergency.com is written to be useful in a real emergency: the urgent answer first, clear decision tiers, and a consistent push to contact a rabbit-savvy veterinarian.
How we write
- The direct answer appears in the first lines of every guide.
- We use three tiers: go to a vet now, call a vet today, and monitor with vet guidance.
- Every emergency guide includes what to tell the vet and what not to do.
How we review
Guidance is source-cited and pending named veterinary review against RWAF (Rabbit Welfare Association & Fund), House Rabbit Society, and exotic small-mammal medicine standards before publication, and carries a last-reviewed date.
Claim discipline on products
We describe recovery products only as supporting or positioned for digestion, appetite, hydration, and recovery. We avoid disease-resolution wording and never present any product as veterinary care or as an emergency response.
